House of Kasavu brings kaithari to everyday life, with pieces that feel good, look beautiful, and last. We are inspired by a story that began in 1954, when 400 Pattariyar weavers built a community around their craft. Today, these 13 women (all models on the site are the weavers themselves) keep that spirit alive, working side by side and lifting each other up as makers and business owners.
Explore breathable cotton sarees for women, elegant mundu for men, and mundu for kids. Each weave is made from fine cotton sourced from the historic mills of Nagercoil and Kannur, then woven with steady hands and thoughtful detail.
Did you know that in addition to the buying price from our sellers (like Chengamanad handlooms) – an additional INR 200 from sale of every item on this site goes to The Tiny Enterprise Resilience Fund to find its way back to entrepreneurs like the weavers of Chengamanad handlooms
